The Crossing TV Pilot

The Crossing is an NBC Television pilot shooting in Northern New Mexico from March 21 through April 9 and will cast hundreds of extras throughout the state. There will be an open casting call, Monday March 14 at the High Country Restaurant and Saloon from 2 pm to 8 pm, 2289 S. State Road 17 in Chama New Mexico.

The production is looking for expert horse riders, an elderly blind man, amputees as well as children, men and women of all races.


People interested in the movie will interview with Elizabeth Gabel, extras casting director, and get their photo taken.  Every applicant should know sizes; height, weight and men should know shirt size including neck and sleeve length, waist and inseam, jacket size all in inches and shoe size. Women should know their waist and hip sizes in inches and shoe size.

The story is set in the post Civil War south and is about rebuilding a small town after the devastation of the war.

Elizabeth Gabel has cast extras in 3:10 to Yuma, No Country for Old Men, Terminator Salvation, True Grit, Appaloosa, Swing Vote, Men who Stare at Goats among others.
